These two Vivaldi masterpieces are wonderful by any standard. The E Major concerto is from Vivaldi's well-known opus "L'Estro Armonico". The C-Major concerto is from the great "Il Cimento Dell' Armonia E Dell'inventione", the famous set of concerti from which the well-known "The Four Seasons" also came. "Il Piacere" shares, with "The Four Seasons", a pastoral portrait of the Lombardy countryside. This is potent Baroque music.

Our book/CD package consists of a printed music score and a compact disc which includes two versions of each song from the book. The first is a complete version with soloist, that you can practice along with. The second is a full stereo orchestral accompaniment by the Czech Symphony Chamber Orchestra, minus the violin soloist, that you will use for performances.
