Encyclopedia Of Reading Rhythms

271 pages, Item number 1700573DU, $19.95

This book is designed to teach a person to read rhythms from the printed page. The first section of this book is devoted to teaching you the fundamentals of rhythmic notation. The instruction is clear, and written in an informal, easy-to-understand style. The second section of this book (over 200 pages of it!) is devoted to rhythmic practice exercises. The practice exercises start out easy (very beginner level), and progress methodically up to the professional level. By the time you can play all of the rhythms shown, you will be capable of sight-reading 99.9% of all rhythms found anywhere. This book is very thorough, and would be a great supplement to any good all-purpose method book.
