Would you like to learn how to play the viola but you can't read music? The Suzuki method will have you playing your first tune in no time. This popular method uses muscle memory, audio memory, and basic finger positions to teach even the youngest person how to play. We have all seen young children holding their violin and playing a tough piece. If this method can work for them, it will work for you. You will start out with the basics of holding the instrument and from there you will quickly progress to performing sonatas and concertos by some of the greatest composers of all time. The method even features piano and CD accompaniments to help you along the way.

Please note that piano accompaniment book A contains the accompaniment part for volume one and two. The play along CD is for the viola part, volume one and volume two. The accompaniment CD features William Preucil performing the works from the book. This disc is designed for you to listen too and play along with. The solo part is not removable.

Franz Wohlfahrt - Foundation Studies For The Violin, Book 2 - Violin Instruction Book
47 pages, Item number 1450540DU, $14.95

This edition of Wohlfahrt's "Studies For The Violin, Book 2" has been prepared with three objects in mind. First of all, it contains the most serviceable first position studies from each of Wohlfahrt's five books ("Op. 45 Nos. I and II", "54", and "74 Nos. I and II"). Their grade of difficulty, style, etc. is re-arranged to maintain a more logical relationship. Secondly, only the studies that are of the greatest importance are included. Third, a more thorough and consistent system of fingering and bowing is provided. This plan, faithfully followed, will save the student valuable time and a great deal of wasted effort.

This is Book Two, and contains "42 First, Second, and Third Position Studies from Opuses 45 and 74."
